Leaving the Indian Ocean we passed through the land of the tall trees - the Carries - this giant eucalyptus-trees grow up to more than 80m. I love to travel through big forests as well as through the desert. There are so many birds, Cockatoos, Wrens and many others of that nice guys. We spent a night in an arboretum with tress from all over the world, for example German Oaks and Californian Sequoias, all of them pretty tall.
Really impressive was the Treetopwalk, more than half a mile you can stroll in the 6th floor to see the life at the head of trees. But you can only enjoy that, if you don’t get seasick on that swinging structure.
Last night the wind turned to South, so it’s pretty cold now below 20 degrees C. That’s why we will leave the coast tomorrow, see if it’s warmer a little more North.
