Norseman

The need and one solution? in Australia

We went up North to Hyden, where “The Wave” is. There are two interesting rocks the Wave and the Yawning Hippo really nice ones, but the local businessmen made such thing out of it, everything is very expensive and you have to pay extra 7$, that they can develop the facilities to increase tourism, not with us we don’t wanted to feed their greed.
But it was warm again, so we find us an acceptable free campspot a little South.
Heading towards Norseman we had some nice gravelroads found another free camping-place with some real good looking lizards.
The Australian-Day was a day like all the others, we couldn’t notice any celebration just like at New-Years-Eve.
Norseman was for us the place, where we could buy groceries and not too expensive fuel for the car, next bigger town is Port Augusta about 1600 km in the East.
On the Western Australia-side of Eyre-Hwy is the longest straight road Australians, 146,6 km or 90 miles. The landscape isn’t much exciting in the Nullarbor area.
We are travelling very slow, that’s why we made after three days not even the half way.
