From the Dandenongs to the Murray River NPs

We spent some days at Haye and Willeke in Mt Dandenong a nice area in the vicinity of Melbourne we made some walks together and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine in the Rhododendron Garden. In spite of our wishes the weather turns into rain and cold. That was why we decided to head North into the Murray River Region with the Nationalparks and further to Mungo NP, instead of visiting the cold and rainy Southeast and Tasmania.

After a half day driving we hit the sun again and found at Greenslake a nice gratis camp-spot for a couple of days. Also for free was the campground at the Wyperfeld NP, at which we stayed for some days and wandered there through the bush. There was plenty of wood for our campfire in the evenings.
Once again we were glad to have a 4WD to use the tracks through the NP.
