Mungo National Park

After visiting the Pink Lakes lead us our way to Mildura and than to

New South Wales again, we started toward Mungo NP. The night sent us rain, that’s why we have now a red muddied Toyota again. The 90 km dirt-road to the NP in the rain did it onto our freshly washed car.

At the visitor-center in Mildura we asked for information's about the park and got some brochures and maps and information's about campgrounds. But at the park they told us almost everything is closed, due to a flood in February, which washed the road away. This was really disappointing and not the first time, that we got wrong or invalid information's in a visitor-center. They have there a lot information shelters, sometimes I think they hide the information's. Though we could see only the Chinese Walls, which are nice, but 250 km dirt-road ….
