Romania - Carpatii

We reached the border, excited how will be the procedures, but everything was very easy. At first a policeofficer wanted to send us to the commercial trucks, after a short discussion he went for an elder, who told him everything is ok with this truck as a motorhome. They didn’t want to see the passports, so we only payed 7 EURO’s fee for using the roads in Romania for 30 days.
We headed direction Ucrainian border on small roads were we learned a lot of the limits of Erhards Crafter to handle the bad roads and sideroads in this region. Like always the pourer the road the nicer the landscape, so for example we found such a nice chappel in a wild mountain ambiente. To prevent Erhards motorhome from damages we splited up for the next days. We drove on hard roads built for logtrucks into the mountains, unfortunately there were a lot of fog, so we couldn’t see that much, next day the rain stopped and everything was fine again.
